I am honored to serve as the President of MAHA and look forward to collaborating with each of you towards achieving our goals for 2020.
Collectively, we have made great strides these past years in terms of the initiatives launched by our prior leadership to advance the legal profession, enhance our presence in the corporate sector and creating close relationships with the judiciary and educating our community, but we cannot stop there.
Hispanic attorneys have been historically unrepresented in the legal profession including the judiciary, which means that we must continue to advocate for a more inclusive bar in the Commonwealth.
With great appreciation, I would like to recognize and thank our Board of Directors and the Advisory Board for taking on this challenge with me. I encourage you to get involved with MAHA by attending our meaningful programs, offering your valuable contributions, and to join and volunteer in our various MAHA Committees. If you have not had the chance, please take this time to join or renew your membership. Your contributions will benefit our community exponentially.
2020 will be a year of ACTION where we will strive for a greater community presence, but this can only possible if collectively we embody our new theme of, “Action, Momentum and Commitment.”
I am very grateful to the MAHA Board Members and MAHA for this unique opportunity to serve you as President. I promise to uphold the values and mission of MAHA to the best of my ability.
