maria dorneyMaria Dorney is a Compliance & Due Diligence Search Specialist at Precision Corporate Services (PCS). She also works as a Pro Bono Attorney through the Women’s Bar Foundation on the Family Law and Elder Law Projects. Prior to joining PCS, she worked for three years as a contractor paralegal for the Enforcement Division at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where she conducted analytical and investigatory work on cases with potential violations of federal securities laws. Previously, she worked as a paralegal in a broad range of practice areas such as immigration law, personal injury and asbestos litigation.

Maria earned her LL.M from Boston University School of Law and her LL.B from the National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru. She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Maria is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys (MAHA) and a member of the Boston Bar Association (BBA).

Maria lives in Medfield with her husband, and their two Australian Shepherds. She volunteers as a coordinator for two non-profit organizations that raise money for low-income residents. In her free time, she enjoys going on hiking trips, exploring new places, reading mystery books, arts & crafts and traveling.
